Closet compactors allow you to remove the air from soft storage - linens, clothing, even stuffed animals - and save up to 75% of storage space for those items. Like their predecessors, space bags, closet compactors work with a standard vacuum to pull air out of a sealed bag, but in closet compactors the bag collapses into a hard-sided storage chest with handles and locking clips that make the chest stackable or easy to slide under a bed. The sealed bag and chest keep out insects, dust and damp for long term storage.
Closet compactors are better for the motor of your vacuum cleaner- the valve that you use to compress the bag has LED lights that turn off to indicate that the inner bag is fully compressed so you don't run your vacuum longer than necessary.
